I have confidence in America and Americans. I know that American individuals have the intelligence, resourcefulness, and strength to live much freer lives than our big government programs currently allow.
I ask you to share my vision for a country that once again embraces the virtues of our Constitution and the governmental limitations detailed in our Bill of Rights! I will stand firmly, for all individuals, against unlimited government power. I desire to represent the common man, woman and young person, with preference over specially privileged interests.
I am ballot certified as the Libertarian Party nominee. Libertarians believe in a dynamic balance between personal responsibility and personal freedom. The problem with big government is not the abuse of power. It is the power to abuse. Big government doesn't only curtail freedom, it curtails responsibility.
Libertarians are more fiscally conservative than Republicans and more socially tolerant than Democrats. Whatever your political roots are, I need your support to weave together the best values of all political philosophies. We can take America back for the average American, like you and me.
We will reclaim the freedom and liberties plundered by the USA PATRIOT Acts and Homeland Defense. We will put an end to IRS racketeering and assure every American that socialism is a choice, not a requirement. We will retain our sovereignty and remain independent of world government. We will defend ourselves from world terrorism without initiating force or fraud upon the rest of the world.
